Day 3 was a bit underwhelming, but it’s my own fault.  I slept in to make sure I cut any migraines off at the pass, and then I only had time for a museum and lunch before I had to come back and check out of the AirBnB and move to a hotel for a night.  I screwed up the AirBnB reservation and made it for two nights instead of three, so it’s my fault.

But hey, make lemonade, right?  I shot from the hip when I made this hotel reservation and I’ve ended up on what used to be Naval Air Station Keflavik in one of the many buildings that the Icelanders have repurposed since the US pulled out.  The guy working the front desk even gave me a ride to the only restaurant around in an old US Government Van, which I easily recognized.  To top it off, this is a “health hotel” and so I got to relax in the hot tub during a brisk Icelandic breeze, that was nice.  And then I walked my medium cheese pizza with extra meat right past the Yoga class. Oops. 🙂

I fly out to Frankfurt, Germany way early tomorrow morning and then hop a train to Stuttgart.  Wish me luck!
